After much planning, it’s exciting to begin our great adventure. I wish it could have been more like Dr. Livingstone’s journey into the unknown, full of crocodiles, strange foods, topless natives and jungle warriors. Maybe we could have met Tarzan, the ape man, cuddled baby monkeys, swung from vines, and slept in tree houses.

However, the first and probably the only natives we will meet on this trip will be the extraordinarily kind people of Sint Maarten; our second home, and the first leg of our trip. They will surely provide us with some great food, entertainment, and hysterically fun conversations. We hope to meet new friends and get to know our neighbors better, and maybe have a contractor build us a wading pool.
We will battle sun burns, ocean breezes, and temperatures in the 80s night and day without apologies. We will do some hikes, shop, and hopefully find a good church. If you like caribbean seas, beaches, creole, french, and dutch food, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the first round of photos. Just don’t lick your phones. They won’t taste as good as the real thing.
I’ll not bore you with our itinerary to europe or our transatlantic ocean voyage at this time. I will try hard to bore you later, lol. For us, this will be a three month journey of a lifetime. It’s all centered around warm sand, sunshine, culture, nostalgia, and romance.
Some may say we are doing common touristy things. Sorry, that’s not true. No trip is ever “common” for us. We’re the kind of couple that stays in a luxury suite only to wade through waist deep snow to climb a scree field to a mountain top on our honeymoon. We love romance, having fun, experiencing God’s joy, and being together. We are in love, and we love living.
So, what other sorts of uncommon things will we experience this time? We don’t know! But the show started out pretty weird in Minneapolis.

Hopefully, you will see more fun pictures of my wife than me. I don’t think you will mind. She is much prettier than I am As for mentally disturbed odd jobs and wacko liberals like the one in the photo above, well, this will be my last mention of these: and politics too – till we return home. I don’t think you will mind; attention seeking creepy people in Minneapolis need to be ignored; and we all know Trump is doing a great job. It’s just, for us, entertainment and medicine for the left now.

I plan to focus on the positive side of life this trip. We will be going all in on Jimmy Buffet, Cary Grant, James Bond, Fred Astair, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, and Princess Grace (You will understand later). We might even get a little wild and do some DJ, heart thumping, and dance music at the world famous SXMFestival.com
This uplifting story and geriatric adventure will be mostly told through my blog: bobgraham.blog.
I’ll still post photos for you and my mom on FB when I can. But “follow” my blog if you want to read about our adventures in real time vua email ( I don’t always post FB links of stuff I write in my blog, so subscribe if you want to read them. I won’t hold it against you if you don’t.) The blog is mine, I own it! FB can not control what I say or what you read there, but they often bury the link to my page. I also do this on the blog so I can remember things we have done when we’re old (older) and to give others a way to live, as I do through you, “vicariously!”
Note: We will be with my mom for 10 days before we head to Sint Maarten. Mom’s come first! Landed!
God Bless
safe travels to you two!!! Look forward to your story!! Make it a good one !!❤️❤️
