Shouting Faith in a World of Systemic Evil: A Call to Bold Action

Systemic evil, it’s real! Think about how there is a cartel of liberal judges at the federal level. Think about how our education system is composed of mostly liberal teachers and professors..Think about Hollywood’s influence in promoting LGBTQ and the woke agenda. Think about how the beurocrats in Washington DC, Chicago, Portland, Minneapolis, San Francisco, etc. have corrupted the democratic process to not allow conservatives to have influence. And think about our media being made up of mostly far left ideologues who frown upon every Christian value.

It’s a wonder, even a miracle, that Trump is in office. Consider that at the Charle Kirk memorial the gospel was preached by politicians. Amazing! These institutions and systems are intentionally corrupting our values on the modern, false, concept that a total separation of church and state is good. They even don’t like our flag, becauseit’s become a symbol of freedom. And our courts are currently supporting acts of indecency and criminal behavior because they have pushed God out of the buildings.

Our educators are pushing cultural values not skills.

Most of the movies we (not me) see on Netflix and at the movies are filled with filthy language, adult themes, gratuitous sex, and are now promoting the trans and gay agenda. Remember market forces drive this stuff as much as Satan himself, so you’re getting what you ask for if you watch these. I’ll ask you straight up, by watching this stuff are you promoting indecency? Or do you think I’m just too puritanical?

It’s impossible to fire a federal worker a teacher, a professor for incompetence and especially bias.

On a political level, it was only recently that conservatives started pushing back on gerrymandering in big cities, the non-democratic process by which evil has secured its influence.

And while the left, anti christian media has always been in charge of the propaganda machine, but now the hulligans in social media have now joined forces. Not only are we getting bias, were watching the most insane stuff online as if it is “normal.”

But you knew all this, right? And you are so bold and likewise frustrated that you push back by “liking” conservative posts (sarcastic). Wow! That’s bold!

Sure we’re thankful that Elon bought X and there are now more windows open to express our views, yet how effective can we really be with slogans about free speech and “freedoms?”

I believe we need to be more like Charlie. We need to “do” more than just “like” posts on social media. I can easily express my frustrations with you all, because I like to write and you are my friends. We’re mostly like-minded and I unfriended nearly 400 looney, hater libs a long time ago.

But today, I did something different (actually yesterday, because it’s 4 am right now), and THIS IS WHERE I HOPE YOU WILL PAY ATTENTION. I read 1 Peter chapter 4 out loud. But I didn’t just read it. I shouted it with enthusiasm! As if I was trying to get someone’s attention at the speakers’ corner in Hyde Park, London. (You should try it! It’s actually suited for enthusiasm, and I imagine that Peter was not shy when he repeated it either).

This shouting made me remember that the University of Wisconsin – Madison had such a place when I attended college. It was usually a place where long haired childred of elites got up to spew some Marxist ramblings. But one beautiful sunny day, an older black gentleman with a white beard and not so nice clothes got up on the platform and preached his heart out. I was captivated. Of course, he was mocked, and the libs tried to drown him out. Although I don’t remember his exact words, I do remember he preached Christ with a fire I did not have at the time. I wanted it, but I was too entrerenched with “me” and in the world. I probably went out drinking and chasing women that night, but that guy got stuck in my mind.

Now, 50 years later, I’m thinking, “Can I be that guy?” Can I be the old guy somebody remembers 50 years from now? The guy who was bold enough to put his faith on the line, to step into the lions den, prepared with God’s word and grace? Maybe or maybe not is my answer. For those who know me well, you know God did not give me verbal skills. But there are other ways to express my faith in a bolder way. I’m exploring my options after reading, out loud, 1 Peter Chapter 4 with conviction.

What about you? There are ways you can prepare for battling systemic evil. Are you willing to speak up? To quote 1 Peter 4 with enthusiasm? Or maybe, just have your neighbor over to quietly and lovingly tell them about Jesus. We are all called to Christ for a purpose, what’s yours?
