“All Hail Trump” – Inauguration Idolatry

I really don’t mind the idolatry of making Trump statues or putting him on a pedestal. It may be true idolatry for some, but for the majority of us our Trump worship is just plain fun! It’s like the giggles we get when we see him dance. Or the grin we enjoy when we see his mug shot. Even his press conferences are pure entertainment.  I think our love of Trump is more about his unique style and vision for America. Only he can utterly destroy the hateful, the woke, the politically correct and ignorant (and often sinful) ideologies of the left. Only he and his crew can cut waste and change the way we spend money frivolously. His instincts make him magnificent!

Trump the Magnificent

Trump is the man of the hour, “The tool of God,” (this especially makes the left lose their minds). Conservatives don’t  think of Trump as a god, king, dictator, or “our savior”: but this is how the left believes we think of him – let’s not let them know otherwise, lol. Keep up your cult behaviors. Tell them you have set up a shrine  in your basement, and his picture framed on a table. The one on your wall is a little bigger than the one of Reagan. And tell them each night you sing God bless America to it. It’s not like singing “Imagine” by John Lennon at a funeral.  Isn’t it fun watching them lose their minds?

On a serious note. No matter what they threw at this man, he prevailed. He, like a soldier hero, captured the hearts and minds of the public by defying death, fighting back, and turning our imaginations into reality.

We all know he can only accomplish so much. We know our government and its beurocracy are corrupt and full of communists and socialists who value their jobs over the well-being of regular Americans. We know how scummy lawyer type legislators like Adam Schiff can be. And we know 2 trillion is practically impossible to cut through DOGE. Still, we’re optimistic!

We also know how support of Trump bothers the elite. All their money and fame and all the media in the world did not stop him from being our president. They are pissed! Their self perceived superiority is so offhandedly demeaning that it’s funny. They are so completely confident in the stupidity of the working class that they have become the narcissistic bullies they accuse Trump of being. I should write a book, “Thirty Ways To Irritate The Elites.”

To have more fun, I recently bought a couple more MAGA hats to give away and a Trump flag to amuse my guests and trigger haters. They need triggering! They need to lighten up, to laugh, to think about how foolish they have become (in four years, I never saw a Biden Flag, lol). Maybe they should be made to bow down to the idol,  the statue we made of Trump? Not to worship him but to repent and be humbled. They need to admit he’s not Hitler, not a misogynist, a racist, or a “threat to democracy.” On Monday, he will simply be our president; a flawed, brash, funny, extremely accomplished guy from Brooklyn who loves America.

If the left had any sense of humor, they should contrast Trump with any liberal democrat. They would see their side as angry, disturbed, and begrudgingly stupid; think of Bernie and Maxine Waters. Republicans are only slightly better. This is why Trump stands apart from all of them.

I think Trump is having fun “being “Trump” in the third person. And never have I had so much fun thinking about a Monday!

All hail, Trump!

P.s. All said (including the images) I’ve made in the spirit of humor and satire; these comments poking fun at political perceptions and stereotypes. My exaggerated and whimsical voice intends to highlight the absurdity of democrats oversimplifying our political beliefs to the point where they say we  idolize a flawed man. In fact, we just like his polices.  This is a playful way to engage with our often polarized political discourse, reminding us all not to take ourselves too seriously or hate Trump too much. I hope you appreciate the lighter side of political commentary. And of course, I worship only the God and Father of Jesus Christ, not the Donald: sadly, I feel like I had to explain this. Still,  in all comedy and satire, there is also truth.
